INSTinCTS Newsletter August 2017 Injection Reimbursement Injection Versus Splinting in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome August 2017 INSTinCTS Protocol: V6.0, dated 01/08/2016 Data Collection Update We are pleased to report that for 6 week our overall response rate was 92% and for 6 month our overall response rate was 81%. Thank you all for helping us to achieve this! All of the Pre-Treatment and 6 week data has now been entered into our database, and data quality checking has been completed. We have also carried out a check of all the Primary Outcome data. We identified minimal errors which our statistician was very happy with. We have now also completed data collection and data entry of the 6 month follow-up and are currently completing quality checking. We need your feedback Thank you to everyone that has completed our recent survey monkey collecting feedback from sites. We were overwhelmed with the response! We are now in the process of compiling this feedback and developing some ‘lessons learnt’ to help us with future studies. Conference Update: Helen Myers presented a poster on recruiting sites to the INSTinCTS study at the International Clinical Trials Methodology Conference in Liverpool, which was well received.
