PTA Website……www.harvardelementarypta.org Benefits of the new PTA website   For parents/users: More user-friendly Easier to navigate and keep up with what’s going on Can subscribe to calendar and integrate with many calendar platforms (Apple Cal, Outlook, Google, etc.) For PTA: Easy to manage/update Offers many functionalities that will streamline communications, data and operations, such as: Integrates with Mailchimp (*Work in Progess) Has a volunteer signup system (*tested and works beautifully, but have not released to users) This will help us publicize volunteer opportunities, will make it easier for parents to signup (as opposed to signup genius), and means all of our data will be in one place Allows us to advertise/feature sponsors in a more professional manner Great tech support from the host, DigitalPTO, with frequent improvements and updates to functionality Can support e-commerce should we ever migrate the spirit store, etc.

PTA Website……www.harvardelementarypta.org Implementation Plan Short Term: Continue to utilize and test the site as is, while rolling out features like volunteer sign-up over the next few months, with a goal of perfecting the site before the next class joins Harvard. Longer Term: Develop a user manual for site updates and backend use (internal PTA doc)
