Required Courses Semester English 12 or AP Lit US Government (reg or d/c) Economics or Global Economics 4th Year of Math OR Quantitative Reasoning

Core 40 Diploma 8 English credits 6* Math credits (2 Algebra I credits, 2 Geometry credits, 2 Algebra II credits) 6 Science credits (2 Biology I credits, 2 Integ. Chem/Physics, Chemistry I or Physics credits, 2 credits in an upper level science course) 6 Social Studies credits (2 U S History credits, 1 Government credit, 1 Economics credit, 2 World History) 1 Health credit 2 Physical Education credits (18 weeks of P.E.) 5 credits in World Langages, Fine Arts, or a Career/Technical area (vocational program) 42 total credits *6 math credits have to be taken in grades 9-12; math or a quantitative reasoning course MUST be taken each year of high school.

Technical Honors Diploma Credits the same as Core 40: English Science Social Studies Health credit Physical Education Additional credits needed: Grades in each of the above credits must be a C- or better Overall grade point average of B- (7.0 or better) Complete 8-10 credits in a technical area Must earn at least 6 dual high school/college credits in a technical area

Technical Honors Diploma Vocational courses that can be applied to the Core 40 with Technical Honors Diploma: Autobody Collision and Repair – 2 years Automotive Technology – 1 year Computer Aided Design – 1 year Construction Trades – 1 year Cosmetology – 2 years Criminal Justice – 1 year Culinary Arts – 1 year Health Careers II (HOE) – 1 year Interactive Media – 1 year Precision Machining – 1 year Primary Health Care – 1 year Welding – 1 year Students planning to return to Impact Institute for 2nd year of programs MUST apply again! ALL VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS REQUIRE ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS  COS AND PHC HAVE EARLIER DEADLINES!

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (complete 1) Academic Honors Diploma Additional credits needed: Math – must take Pre-Calculus/Trig or Prob/Stats & Finite Math Foreign Language credits (6 in one language or 4 credits each in two languages) 2 credits in Art and/or Music Grades in each of the above credits must be a C- or better Overall grade point average of B- (7.0 or better) Credits the same as Core 40: English Science Social Studies Health credit Physical Education ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (complete 1) 4 credits in 2 AP courses w/ exams, OR 6 credits in dual credit (high school/college) courses, OR 2 credits in AP course w/exam and 3 credits in dual credit (high school/college) courses, OR 1750 SAT score, OR 26 composite ACT score

Remember... Scheduling worksheets should be turned in to your counselor on the day you enter courses on your Chromebook. All schedules are due by Monday, February 1st – don’t give someone else the chance to make your schedule for you!!! Make sure that you have met the prerequisites for a course before you sign up for it Pay close attention to how long a course lasts Vocational applications (if necessary) interest card to counselor online application at impactinstitute.net Don’t forget to list alternate courses! See your counselor before February 1st if you have questions!!
