KSA Job Description Positive approach to HE. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to act as a good role model and positive ambassador of Keele University (to present oneself in a professional manner). Ability to effectively communicate with varied audiences (young people, students UK and non-UK, parents, academic staff, professionals etc.). Good listening skills. IT literate. Experience or willingness to work with young people. Friendly and approachable. Respect for social, cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds of all people. Good time management skills, responsible and reliable. Willingness to undertake relevant training as appropriate to the role. Good team player – able to work in partnership with fellow students and University staff. Flexible and pro-active and able to think on your feet. Have the potential to raise the aspirations of others. Knowledge and understanding of the Keele campus, experience and community.

Main Duties Actively assist in the running of events and projects organised by University staff. Professionally represent both the student body and the University at all times. Actively support and promote the values of Keele University in line with the University Strategic Plan. Actively implement health and safety and child protection policies while working on events/projects Complete any paperwork associated with Student Ambassador policy and procedures.
