1. soak sth in sth to make something completely wet if you soak something, or if you let it soak, you keep it covered with a liquid for a period of time, especially in order to make it softer or easier to clean

14. freak out to become suddenly angry or afraid, especially so that you cannot control your behavior
Example A: Who ate the cheese cake on the table? B: Me, it was really delicious. A: Oh! Tony’s gonna freak out. That’s his favorite cake.
22. make sb’s peace with sth/sb to end a quarrel with a person or group, especially by telling them you are sorry
Example A: Who let the dog in? B: Me A: I don’t like dogs. They’re dirty. B: I’ve washed it already. It’s clean. And it’s raining now. A: Alright, I can make my peace with the clean dog.
