Affirmative Sentences Formula : subject + v2nd form + object . Rule 1:  एकवचन तथा बहुवचन दोनों मे ही Subject (कर्ता) के साथ Verb की 2nd Form आती है ।  example : 1. honey gave me a pen yesterday . हनी ने मुझे कल पेन दिया | 2. laxmi went to कोटा to see his father yesterday. लक्ष्मी उसके पिता को देखने के लिए कल कोटा गयी | mehvish wrote a letter to her friend. मेशविश ने उसकी सहेली को एक पत्र लिखा |

Negative Sentence (नकारात्मक वाक्य ) Formula : subject + didnot + V1stform + object Rule 1:  Negative sentences मे प्रत्येक कर्ता(Subject) के बाद did not लगाकर Verb की 1st Form को लगाते हैं । Rule 2: यदि वाक्य मे 'कभी नहीं ' आया हो तो 'never' का प्रयोग करते है । never के साथ did not नहीं लगाते हैं । केवल '2nd form of verb' लगाते हैं । subject + didnot + v1st + object + . 1. He did not play hockey yesterday. 2. The boys did not learn their lesson.    3.मैं कभी देर से नहीं आया ।  I never came late.

INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE प्रश्न वाचक वाक्य Formula:did + subject + v1st + object + ? Rule 1: अगर वाक्य मे 'क्या' लगा हो तो Did को कर्ता (Subject) से पहले लगाते हैं और 1st Form of Verb लगाते हैं फिर object लिखते हे | Rule 2:  वाक्य के अंत मे प्रशनसूचक चिन्ह (?) अवश्य लगाते है । क्या उसने किताब पढ़ी ? Did he read a book? क्या तुम्हारी माँ तुम्हे प्यार नहीं करती थी ? Did your mother love you ?

Interrogative negative Sentences प्रश्नवाचक नकारात्मक वाक्य Formula : did + subject + not + verb 1st form + object + ? Rule 1: अगर वाक्य मे 'क्या' लगा हो तो Did को कर्ता (Subject) से पहले लगाते हैं और कर्ता के बाद not का प्रयोग करते हें फिर उसके बाद 1st Form of Verb लगाते हैं फिर object लगाते हें ।   Rule 2: वाक्य के अंत मे प्रशनसूचक चिन्ह (?) अवश्य लगाते है । 1  क्या तुम मेरे साथ नहीं भागे थे ? did you not run with me? 2.  क्या वह यहाँ नहीं आती थी ? Did she not come here?  .

Yes /No Questions Did you work yesterday? DID + subject + main verb + rest of sentence + ? Example: Did you work yesterday? - Yes, I did. - No, I didn’t.

Yes /No Questions verb TO BE WAS / WERE + subject + rest of sentence + ? Example: Were you at home last weekend? - Yes, I was. - No, I wasn’t.

REMEMBER!! Positive sentences: Negative sentences: Yes/No questions: I played football yesterday I went home early on Saturday Negative sentences: I didn’t play football yesterday I didn’t go home early on Saturday Yes/No questions: Did you play football yesterday? Did you go home early in Saturday?
