Common Mistakes  Not sending the supplemental detail form with the GA agreement.  The supplemental detail form has RA or TA description, but the GA agreement has the opposite box checked.  The supplemental detail form does not contain a job description.  Not putting fund numbers in the business use only section for tuition and stipend coverage.  Box not checked for full or part time.  Filling out the agreement in pen rather than typing. Agreements that need approval from the Office of Research Administration being sent to Graduate Study without the approval.  Graduate Study not being notified if a GA terminates their position.  

GRADUATE ASSISTANT DEADLINES  The new Bill Due and Cancellation Policy took effect Fall 2017. Students who have not: Paid their bills in full; OR Enrolled in a payment plan; OR Had fully processed financial aid approximately two to three weeks before the first day of classes each semester. Will be cancelled from their classes.   Final bill due date and cancellation date will be announced on the Student Financial Services Website. To have enough time to process GA agreements and have their tuition award sent to financial aid, the deadline for GA agreements to Graduate Study has been revised. Strict adherence to the deadlines is necessary to ensure all Graduate Assistants are able to take the classes that are needed and not cancelled.
