What do we assess? Eight curricular areas Experiences and Outcomes (referred to as Es & Os): The Experience describes the learning. The Outcome represents what the learning will achieve. This is often explained, from the pupil's perspective as an 'I can....', 'I am able to....‘ Progressive planners across all levels Benchmarks indicate key assessments
Achievement of a Level Early Level: preschool years and P1 or later for some First Level: to the end of P4; earlier or later for some Second Level: to the end of P7; earlier or later for some Third/Fourth Level: S1 – S3; earlier for some Senior Phase: S4-S6 Achievement of a level recorded at P1, P4 & P7 Benchmarks
