History of Engineering in Lancaster PLTW - Engineers wanted to give back Clarence and Lancaster in 1997 In response to the need for engineers

The History of Engineering in Lancaster PLTW first class in 1997-98 One classroom - 11 sections 36th school in the world to be in the program Today there are 1000s of schools

Current Engineering in Lancaster Total of 12 Technology Teachers Gateway has been added for 7th and 8th grades 2 middle school teachers trained in Gateway and are teaching to 7th and 8th graders. Trades Academy

Current Engineering in Lancaster Project Lead the Way, at the HS level, has more than 350 students taking classes Students are earning transcript credit through RIT Considered better qualified for engineering classes and are able to finish undergraduate school in four years
