Scoring Systems Distance Goals Height Time Strokes Or Shots Runs Weight Objective points Subjective points
Objective Scoring Objective scoring happens in all sorts of different activities where there is a target to hit. That target may be the floor.
Objective Scoring The target may be a ring or a goal as in netball or basketball or football.
Objective Scoring The target may be to finish in the fastest time. To throw the furthest distance.
Objective Scoring To jump the highest. To take fewer strokes or shots.
Objective Scoring To score more runs than the other team.
Objective Scoring To lift more weight than the opposition.
Subjective Scoring This is when your performance is judged by a panel or group of people and they then award marks for it.
Subjective Scoring Can you think of another activity apart from gymnastics where your performance is judged by a group of people and a score is given?
Finally! Objective Scoring is based on FACT!! Subjective Scoring is based on OPINION!!
