To achieve the award Learners must achieve a total of 12 credits: • 3 credits from: Unit 301 Roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training • 6 credits from: Unit 302 Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training Unit 305 Understanding assessment in education and training Level 3 Award in Education & Training
Qualification Structure 3 written assignments Reflective journal at the end of each unit 15 minute micro teaching or previous observation of recent teaching , you will also be required to produce a session plan and scheme of work. Level 3 Award in Education & Training
Delivery 10 weeks taught session plus additional week for tutorials and portfolio building. 3 guided learning hours/contact hours per week Recommended 18 hours of non-contact which will cover the individual tutorial support time, developmental activities, research, self-study and teaching practice Use of college computers Ability to access resources from the college Moodle Level 3 Award in Education & Training
