The Estate Wonganella Estate is located perfectly positioned on top of the hill above Port Stephens Winery at Bob's Farm, Port Stephens. Having this elevated advantage, we uniquely offer the best views of the hinterland through to Port Stephens. Wonganella Estate is set on 35 acres of picturesque sea views including acres of natural bushland. With the newly refurbished Barrel Room (pictured left) and the Cellar Door venue, we can accommodate up to 250 guests at a given time. The Barrel Room The barrel room is a new contemporary conversion from the winery storage and basement cellar. Retaining a range of the key rustic features, the venue provides a unique and romantic setting for your wedding. The venue has capacity for 150 guests and can accommodate a range of seating configurations to suit your day. The lounge area, provides the perfect end to the night, allowing guest to continue the festivities following the wedding celebration.

The Cellar Door Commanding the best views over the estate, the Cellar Door is a popular venue for sunset and smaller wedding parties of up to 100 people. The cellar for has been designed to capture a French country influence, providing a bright The wedding party can enjoy sunset views during the celebration and fantastic views of the Tilgerry creek. Larger weddings can utilise both areas, starting with canapés and sparkling cuvee on the veranda, follow by the formal meal in the Barrel Room beneath the cellar door. Ceremonies can be conducted at either of the venues or within any of the outside picturesque areas throughout the estate. The area is fully air conditioned and heated for use throughout the year.

The Winery Wonganella estate has a range of boutique wines which are handpicked each harvest season. Wonganella wines are distinctly different than the vast majority of wine product available to wine lovers. Our wines are made with a simple principle, that is, to produce intense lush flavour and yet have the ability to be enjoyed with the finest of foods. We believe that fine wine has to enhance the flavour of any accompanying food. After all, wine is the only alcohol made for the sole purpose of being enjoyed with food. Our popular boutique wines include our lightly oaked Chardonnay (2007), the Sparkling Cuvee (NV) and Salt Marsh Shiraz (2006). Wedding packages can be tailored to include wine packages as part of the ceremony.

The Food Wonganella provides the complete dining experience with great food, tranquil district views, and set within landscaped vines and natural bush setting. Our menu is created from the finest seasonal produce available with daily offerings on the blackboard. With the emphasis on consistent quality and elegant surrounds, there is no better location than Wonganella Estate. Ideally suited for a more casual wedding. The Traditional Wedding Package – Our most popular offering of a formal 3-4 course sit down dining experience. The Premium Wedding Package – This includes utilisation of our premium chefs, premium dining experience includes Lobster, Fillet Steak and other Signature dishes.
