Presentation transcript:

CLE PowerPoint Each group will create and present a PowerPoint presentation based upon our reading of “Night”. Each group member will be responsible for a portion of the work and this presentation must be emailed to Andrew_Cedergren@chino.k12.ca.us by 7:00 AM this Friday (2/23) Presentations will focus on using guiding questions to structure their explanation of “Night”

Guiding questions Your group must have a structure to their presentation about “Night”; such as: What is Wiesel saying about mankind & humanity? What is he saying about his own struggle? What was his purpose in writing “Night”? What lessons can one take from this novel?

presentation expectations Slide #1: Present your question and why it is important Slides 2-4: Present a fact, example or quote that answers the question your group presents. In addition, you need to also include your own analysis into how your CD proves your question (think of CD and CM). Slide #5: You will need to explain if your group believes this novel represents hope or despair.

Group roles (cle) By the end of the class today each group will have established their group roles and their guiding question. Group Roles Group leader (responsible for organizing the group as a whole) Main presenter (main speaker during the presentation) Artist (responsible for design choices in the presentation) Representative (responsible for making sure the presentation is submitted properly and on time)
