Four-Step Plan  Stop, breathe, reflect, and choose

Live a healthy life  Eat right, rest, exercise

Take a break from stressors  Sit in a chair with your feet up.

Relax  Take a warm bath

Escape  Listen to quiet, soothing music

Relieve tension  Shut your eyes, deep breaths, relax muscles

Rely on others  Talk to a friend

Meditate  Think about values, belief in a higher power

Use Imagery  Close eyes, imagine a better place

Enjoy yourself  Leisure activity or hobby

Renew yourself  Learn new skills, join a club

Think positively  Reflect on accomplishments, feel proud

Develop outside interests  Provide time for yourself

Seek assistance or delegate tasks  Ask others for help, no one can do it all

Avoid too many commitments  Learn to say no
