Intervention Evening 2017 Introduce key staff

THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME FOR YOUr child Aims: THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME FOR YOUr child The aim of the evening is to offer advice about how you can best support your child over the next 26 weeks, including what to expect, how examinations will be conducted and how to support study at home. The more information you have, the more we can all work in collaboration to ensure the best possible outcomes for your child.

Key word: collaboration If we work in partnership – parent, pupil and school – then you can be sure that your child will achieve the best result possible. Shared vision of what success looks like for your child. Important to report any issues: homework, progress, pastoral concerns, exams: IF WE DON’T KNOW – WE CAN’T HELP

No time to lose - so what can you do to help? 26 weeks No time to lose - so what can you do to help?

Attendance matters All students need to be in school, all day every day, working at their very best. For every 10% of attendance lost, research has shown that a student drops a whole grade in every subject. Poor attendance is the single most detrimental factor to a child’s success.
