Slice the boils open, squeeze out the poison, then cover the wound with POO! 5 Place a live hen next to the swelling to draw out the illness from the body. What links all of these?? They are all cures people tried! Describe medieval medicine in your own words!

Medicine… People soon realised they knew very little about Medicine! Nobody knew what caused the Black Death and not a single person in Britain knew how to cure it if you caught it! One of the effects of the Black Death then was that people realised old medicines were rubbish and needed to be changed!
