EDUCATE   Teach hand jive and tell the habits … 7 habits a big part of educate at Orange, all students learn, a fun way we have to remember them is the hand jive – do with whole team…. One use a lot and why (Kassidy 1, Autumn 7) 1-3 is all about me 4-6 is all about working with others/us 7 is about taking care of ourselves – heart/mind/body/soul - balance HAND JIVE TIME!

EDUCATE - WIGS Math Literacy Culture Autumn WIGS – another big part of EDUCATE is our WIGS (Wildly Important Goals) -tell what they are and how we are doing on them – literacy, math, and culture! And here is Jayna to tell you more about math.

Asia/Jayna Want people to leave Orange feeling good about themselves and wanting to do more for others – Remember, what do leaders do … Response: Make the World a Better Place. LEAD Macy/Bobby Raise your hand if you are a leader – if not everyone does, give them the “buzzer” sound and explain that we are ALL leaders!!!!!! Everyone has jobs - takes all of us working together to make a great learning community (our mission) K-2 kids classroom jobs, 3-5 kids get to apply for school wide one … show app and explain – REAL world – job app Share what jobs are … explain process – fill out app, what is on the application and interview, share jobs Explain how it takes all of us to run our school – different leadership jobs – give examples and have each speaker leader share one job they do besides speaker leader or another job there is in the school if they don’t have another one – Make job application bigger on the slide and share how we have to interview and get hired – just like in the real world Bobby wants to share the part about that you have to BELIEVE you can do it – Confidence Both of you give examples of how being a leader has improved your confidence
