Digital Footprints

What is a Digital Footprint? A digital footprint is the data that is left behind by users (that’s you) on digital services (things like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat etc). An ACTIVE digital footprint is when the creator shares personal information deliberately on websites or social media.

What will your digital footprint look like – create a document? In your e-poem groups: List all the social media you use between you List some of the posts you have shared Decide whether or not they contribute to a positive or negative DIGITAL FOOTPRINT What would a future employer say about you after looking at your DIGITAL FOOTPRINT? Write out some positive posts you would want an employer to find

Time Line    Week 1: Get into pairs and start writing poem ideas Week 6: Showcase best bits Week 5: Continue filming Week 4: Theme is Digital Footprint. Continue writing poem and start filming Week 3: Theme is Horrible Histories. Continue writing poem and plan video Week 2: Theme is Twitter. Continue writing poem and plan video Week 1: Get into pairs and start writing poem ideas  
