Interactive Multimedia Course Information Code: CSC253 Course: Interactive Multimedia Contact Hour: 4 Course Status: Non Core Credit Unit: 3 Prerequisites: None

Course Description Introduce the essential topics in multimedia application development. concepts in hypermedia, basic techniques in multimedia application development (combination of audio, video, animation and graphics) and data storage and retrieval methods. It also discusses multimedia computer hardware. Exposure to the functions of current multimedia software packages, multimedia application concepts, data manipulation, file format, media storage, memory management and configurations and screen display techniques.
