Materials Available 8mm Wood Spar 4mm Wood Dowelling Cardboard Triangles Motor Elastic bands Pulley wheels (small on motor & large/medium on axle) Crumble control board Battery holder (3 batteries) Wooden wheels Rubber washers Crocodile Clips

Things to Consider Your vehicle must hold securely your battery pack and crumble board Your motor must drive your axle You will need a gear to convert speed into power to move the axle No glue must be used on any of the electrics You can’t start until you have an A4 carefully drawn plan with lengths clearly marked in cm or mm

Things to Consider Your motor must drive your axle You will need a gear to convert speed into power to move the axle Pulleys More speed Less Power Less speed More Power Wheel

Things to Consider Triangles are a great way of strengthening joins

Things to Consider How will you attach your motor to the frame?

Things to Consider How will you secure your battery pack and crumble without glue

Things to Consider Your design must be checked and approved before you can start making Mark in lengths in mm or cm Draw from more than one view (example above and side) This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Unported License.
