Lesson 1: Databases

Today we will: Learn how a barcode can be used to link data in a database Learn how databases can be used to display relevant information Learn how to use a database to search for information

Tasks We will create a database about “facts about my class” Let’s think of some “data” that we could enter…. Mention and explain data types

Your teacher will now show you how to set up the database Once set up you should fill in the records of at least 10 people in the class

In this lesson you will: Learn how to create a form to enter data Learn how to search the database using a query Learn how to create a form to display information
