Jewish Background Jews came from

Jewish religion Jewish people went to Synagogue and at 14 guys get a Bar Mitzvah were they become a man. Jewish live off the book Torah.

Jewish holidays Rosh Hashanah happens on the 1st and 2nd on Tishri. Yom Kippur is when Jews don’t eat and drink for 1 day starting at sundown and it goes to sundown of the next day. Then they fest and eat with all there friends and family.

Kaddish After one’s death in Jewish law the family of the deceased must read out of the kaddish on the eleven month after the death. They also have to read out of the kaddish on every anniversary of the death. The theme of the kaddish is the greatness of god.

Pre war 9 million Jewish people. Lived in small village towns. Read Yiddish books & went to Yiddish theaters.

After war 3 million Jewish people left in all Many Jews were in displacement
