Introduction Should there be poverty in Britain ? My idea is to write about what causes poverty in Britain and what Charites are there to help people . Also this topic is happening everyday and people are trying to find help to have a normal life and carry on following their dream.

Information on what causes poverty There are so many reason why there is poverty in Britain , for example the main causes of poverty are Long term unemployment Lack of education Homelessness Social class background Poor health

Information-long term unemployment This means that people are living on low income or long term unemployment can have other negative effects on people which can lead to mental health, no confidence and low self-esteem.

Lack of education Edcuation is key in peoples life . Nowadays it is mainly technology based. The well paid jobs are open to people with good skills and qualifictions.But people who are age 16-19 that are not in education and not employed they will find it hard to live and pay the mortgage because they will have no qualifications or skills

Homelessness This means it is difficult to return applications forms to people if they don’t have an address to return them back to people so they won’t be able to get a job but if someone like us might be able to give them a home or shelter so they can be looked after until they are settled.

Social class background If you come from a good area, you will be excepted to last longer but people you are living in poverty because of their social background , will die at a young age because they are dying from thirst and hunger because they don’t have enough money to provide their own food and drink.

Target audience My target audience is people who are living in poverty because they know what causes poverty and where they can get help from. I need to research what causes poverty in Britain and what Charites are they to help these people. As a creative I would hope to develop my ideas and where I can end up after I have finished at college in the media industry and help other people you want to learn media studies.

Swot analysis The strength of the piece will be to make sure people understand how it is like to live in poverty and what we can do to help and what charities there are for people who are in poverty and need help for the family. The weakness of the piece is not many people are going to read the article and help other people. The Opportunities that this piece is going to give is that people in poverty can see where they can get help from and how to have a proper life. Also people you are not living in poverty can help raise money for the Charites who support the families living in poverty. The threats that are going to cause my piece to not go ahead is that is might not be enough people to read the article and it might not help other people.

Impact on my audience The impact that it is going to have on my audience is that it is going to be emotional because it is going to explain why there is poverty in Britain and what is causing to it. Also it is going to make people cry because it is going to have pictures of people who are suffering from living in poverty and how we can help to support the people. My response links to more than one charity. The Charites are Oxfam, the salvation army, turn to us.
