To Add Approvers Names And Processor Name For Your Trip: FIRST APPROVER Click on the Button To The Right Of ‘First Approver” And A List Will Appear. Type In The Last Name Of Your Department Manager Then Click OK There Will Be A Drop Down List With Different Names Select Your Department Manager’s Name And Click OK Your Managers E-Mail Address Will Appear Next To The First Approver Button REPEAT THE SAME STEPS FOR: Second Approver and Processor TO SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL: Click The “SUBMIT” Button At The Top Left Of Your Screen.

Please update your travel planner’s e-mail address, so they can receive an invoice also. This will enable them to update the traveler tracking spreadsheet for tracking purposes. Emergency Number is very important so we can reach you in case of any emergency (i.e., 9/11, weather, power outage, etc.). Emergency contact name is your direct supervisor. Put in your cell number first, then your supervisor’s number second. Make sure HR has you updated personal emergency contact number on file i.e. spouse, parent, etc, incase we need to contact them too.

Here “View Flight Schedules” reveals more flight options with different times. These are the outbound flights and if you continue scrolling you will see the inbound flights

Get your Approval Number from the Trip Request Database. This number should have been generated when your trip went through the regular approval process. Please call 877- 407- 2217 for any Honda Online Travel changes. Please avoid any unnecessary changes. HMA gets charged a penalty airline fee, a ticket reissue fee and the difference in ticket fare every time a change is made. The on-site agent can assist with any online questions, but cannot make any changes to a trip booked through “HOT”. Please call 877- 407- 2217 for any Honda Online Travel changes.
You can e-mail anyone your itinerary by clicking on E-mail Please name your trip for future reference. For example, CITY and DATE of travel. Click CHANGE NAME to save.
Put in the e-mail address of the person you want to receive the itinerary. You can also courtesy copy anyone else and add comments in the comment section.
You will receive an invoice in your e-mail once your trip is ticketed. Take a copy of your itinerary/invoice with you for airport check in If you frequently travel to the this destination, you can save this trip as a template
Honda Online Booking Tips
IF THE HOTEL YOU WANT IS NOT IN THE LIST, YOU CAN MODIFY YOUR SEARCH Click on MODIFY REQUEST
This screen will allow you to specify your search either by airport/city, address/zip or custom location
Enter the hotel address you are searching for and click search The list that pulls up will show hotels within 20 miles radius of the location specified. A hotel will not pull up if it is sold out or is not Honda approved.
To add a second hotel to your itinerary i. e To add a second hotel to your itinerary i.e. on your last day of travel, you want to stay at a hotel closer to the airport; Click Add Hotel button
Put in the dates you would like to check in and check out from hotel Put in the address of the hotel and search
This button will allow you to view more options in case you want to change what you already have in your itinerary You can remove your car by clicking on this button especially if you find out that the person you are traveling with has reserved a car already.
Click OK to remove the rental car from your itinerary. If you click on the remove button next to the rental car, a prompt will pop up to ask for confirmation Click OK to remove the rental car from your itinerary.
Your Car Rental will not appear in your itinerary once you remove it Your Car Rental will not appear in your itinerary once you remove it. Repeat the same process for Hotel if needed.
Hotel Information will allow you to view more information on the hotel, For example, directions, cancellation policy and room information. etc.
To select a seat on your flight, click the Seat Map button
Click on the seat you prefer HOT allows you to see seats occupied by other Honda travelers. You may hide yourself on seat maps by turning this feature off in your Profile under Travel Preferences The legend will help you understand the seating assignments on a flight

Assign your trip a title i.e. Destination and Date
To find your saved trip or templates, click on TRIPS & TEMPLATES
Click on view and you will see your itinerary or your past trips that you have saved
This will show if your trip has been Ticketed or Not Yet Ticketed A ticket number will be generated when trip is ticketed. This number will appear below the Trip Locator
You can also go to TRIPS&TEMPLATES. Look for the name of the trip. If you reserved your itinerary the status will show as RESEARCH If you purchased your itinerary the status will show if it already PURCHASED or PENDING
