Architectural Elements Arch- semicircular shape used in bridges and buildings

Architectural Elements Column-architectural structure comprised of a base, shaft,and capital

Architectural Elements Baseboards-border usually made from wood used at the bottom of the wall along the perimeter of the floor Molding-strips of curved or carved wood used for decoration

Architectural Elements Cupola- a dome shaped roof or ceiling Dome- a vaulted hemispherical roof

Architectural Elements Gable-the triangle-shaped part of a wall at the end of a sloping roof Lintel- a long piece of stone or wood above a window or door that helps carry the weight of the wall
