Journal Setup Page 1 – Title Page Required: Student created title for the journal First and last name School year Decorated Optional: Teacher’s name Class period Decorate the inside covers (front and back)

Page 2 – Journal Guidelines Journal Setup Page 2 – Journal Guidelines Required: At the top: Journal Guidelines Copy the following guidelines into your journal Sign the bottom of the page acknowledging that you understand the expectations Write using any color pen as long as it is readable. Write neatly. Write during time allotted; do not stop until you are told to do so. Write at least one FULL page (unless told otherwise).

Focus on the topics of the journal entry or activity. Strive for depth of thought and avoid rambling. Journals must be your original work.
