CDM Standardized Baselines Identification of baseline scenario Key aspects of CDM Projects Demonstration of additionality Identifying a baseline and proving additionality are the two most resource-intensive aspects of registering a CDM project, often requiring the expertise of hired consultants. 5

CDM Standardized Baselines 2010 - Decision 3/CMP.6 definition: “..Baseline established by a Party or a group of Parties to facilitate the calculation of emission reductions and removal and/or the determination of additionality for clean development mechanism project activities, while providing assistance for assuring environmental integrity..” Underrepresented project activity types, e.g. energy generation in isolated systems, transport and agriculture Underrepresented regions: LDCs, SIDs and Parties with 10 or fewer registered CDM project activities as of 2010 Decision 3/CMP.6 priorities:
