Google images from Africa to talk about. How are parts of Africa different to us? How are they similar? Y2 children are beginning to write using the diagonal strokes from the line in their handwriting to begin to join in cursive script. Encourage them to use neat letter formation and letter spacing. Please remember to listen to your child read at least 3 times per week. This half term, our homework has changed. The children have a sheet of six different maths skills which they must complete one per week. There are also 3 reading tasks.
