An Excellent Resume will… Directions: 1.Brainstorm what qualities, skills or characteristics you will use in your future position, write those down. 2. Reflect upon a past job or experience that you have had, and see if you used any of the same skills you listed for your future job, write those down. 3. Draw an arrow between, or circle the skills you have used in the past, and the ones you will need in the future. 4. Be sure to include these transferable skills when building your resume. An Excellent Resume will… Be a bridge to your future By demonstrating how your current/past skill set will transfer If you are unsure of a future job/internship that you would like, write down current qualities/skills that you either possess or would like to strengthen or learn in your future.  Current Position  Future Position   into your future position.
