Lindsay, pictured here is now in the position held by Rita May. Rita is working a limited number of hours to assist and train Lindsay. Lindsay is the go to person for reimbursement , grant compliance and reinforcement item questions. 2. Kaye Hawkins is our new staff support. Her efforts include travel, communications and many other things. You may have recently received a message about inventory of NEP computers. 3. Kenny Hunter, pictured here is now the Food System Specialist, working with agents on related policy, system and environmental efforts to support increases in the consumption of fruits and vegetables by limited resource families. Work will include Farm to School, Farmers’ markets, double bucks, farm produce donations to food banks for tax credit, etc. 4. Michele West, Project Coordinator for Mobile Technology Research project. She may contact you for the advisory group and/or focus group locations. 5. Stephanie Derifield, new area agent starting November 1st.

2016 Performance Evaluation Process Timeline Questions Agent will review with program assistant between November 17th and December 12th . November 16 NEP notifies Supervising Agents of approval November 17 – December 12 Supervising Agent and Program Assistant review PE, sign, and mail original signed copy to NEP office When all signed forms are received from a district, NEP will send them to DDs for final signatures and returned to NEP office.

2017 NEP Performance Appraisal Highlights of …How 2017 will be different from previous year’s performance appraisal. See the scoring tool or scale for these sections will be different. Section A: Youth enrollment; previously number of groups now will be number of students/participants. Percentage of effort remains the same youth 20% and adults 80%. Section C: Increased the range for earning a 4 rating

2017 Rating range remains the same. Professional Improvement plan used when score is 2 or below. District Directors and area agent assist with the process.

New online process for UK travel, TRIP New online process for UK travel, TRIP. Affects program assistants receiving state funds. Fast process with direct deposit in only a few days. Critical to be correct with data entry. Only traveler can make corrections. Complete the form online in myuky. Print documents, scan document and supporting documents such as KERS summary, meeting and activities, etc. Complicated in the beginning, thus very important to participate in training opportunities
