Current Progress 01 March 2017: Coast Guard was included in USCC J7 funded sustainment training for Cyber Mission Forces. FY17: Executed 6 quotas in CPT-Core, 4 quotas in JCAC, and 3 quotas in JACWC. FY18: Executed 3 quotas in CPT-Mission Protection, 3 quotas in Intel Intro to Cyber, 14 quotas in CPT-Core.
Future Plans Develop Cyber Systems Major at Coast Guard Academy (CGA) CGA to attain NSA/DHS Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CDE) Designation Continue to seek and attend training that aligns with US Cyber Command’s CPT training requirements Further define training requirements for cyberspace workforce beyond Cyber Protection Team Define USCG cyber training requirements for Maritime Transportation System.
