Quetzalcoatl Major deity of the Aztecs, Tolecs, and other Mesoamericans. Quetzalcoatl - "Feathered Snake” Often Depicted as a Feathered Serpent Feathers - “the ascension of human consciousness back to its origins” (Quetzalcoatl - Crystalinks) Serpent – physical reality Quetzalli – “precious” and “beautiful” in Aztec Feathers represent the ascension of human consciousness back to its origins - while serpent represent human DNA or physical reality.
