MC for an event Speaking clearly (slowly, loudly) Using different words to describe someone Help the audience to understand more about the speaker

Activity Choose a ‘speaker’ to introduce. Use the words on the slide, and your information to write a few sentences about them. Don’t use the same descriptive word twice! Use the thesaurus if you are stuck, or ask someone.

Words to introduce a speaker: Our guest today is ………… Please welcome …………

At the end of the presentation…. ‘Please thank ………….. for their presentation today .’ (clapping). ‘As a token of our appreciation, please accept this gift from the faculty.’
