Paint Chip Poetry Create a poem using the names of the various colors on your swatch The color name doesn’t have to be the last word in the line, but it must appear within the line Don’t write with pen until you’re sure about your lines!

Poetry Stations Preview Get out a sheet of paper We will be rotating slips of paper with station descriptions Take one minute to look over the poetic form Once the timer goes off, rotate the sheet of paper Jot down the number of any stations that seems interesting to you

Poetry Stations Choose a station No more than 3 to a station Brainstorm with that poetic form When the timer goes off, rotate to a new station You may listen to music as you work, BUT the first time I see Snapchat, iMessage, etc. EVERYONE puts their phones away
