Practice Complete the Web services tutorials at http://w3schools.com. Enrichment Activity At http://etech.eweek.com, search for “Semantic Web” and choose “Video: SOA Meets the Semantic Web.”

Lesson Review During this lesson, you learned: The value and advantages of e-commerce The value of Web services How to register and use Microsoft Live (Web services)

Lab Download Audacity (free, cross-platform, open source software for recording and editing sound). It’s an easy-to-use application with many online tutorials. Create a podcast about podcasts. Complete research about podcasts and type a script (narration) before actually creating the podcast. Add background music to play softly during the narration. This is a great learning activity that students enjoy. It addresses the different learning styles, it’s relevant, and it reinforces material learned in class.

Lab Complete “Using Windows Live Services to Create a Blog” by completing the worksheet. Register. Personalize your space. Test drive other Windows Live Services. This is the last slide in the presentation.
