Emotion Versus Emotionalism Among some, there is undue emphasis placed on outward displays of emotion(s). In response, many are fearful of showing any emotion(s), whatsoever. Expressions of emotion are NOT inherently bad. Expressions of emotion are appropriate, at times. When expressions are completely lacking, some may wonder, “Where IS YOUR Compassion?”

Where Is Your Compassion? It is appropriate to express your emotions, at times (Eccl 3:4). Anything that dishonors God, puts Christians in danger, or causes them grief are worth feeling/expressing emotion. We must not confuse emotionalism, with spirituality. Some may lack emotion, because, you’ve grown cold?

Revelation 21:4-5 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
