Cereal Box Reading The cereal box or food box on your desk was just found in the wilderness by your crash crew. Directions: Study your box as a group Find three things on each side of the box to describe. Allow each crash crew member to create a written description of one of the three things. Use at least three sentences for every description. Be ready to present this information to the class.

Is the box interesting? Why? Does this cereal look delicious? What colors does your box have? Are there characters on your box? Who would want to eat this cereal? Could the box be better? What adjectives describe this box? What word choice is used on the box? Who is the manufacturer? Is a picture of actual cereal on the box?

Try to build at least three sentences before heading out the door. Exit Ticket If you were to create a cereal box, what would the box look like? Try to build at least three sentences before heading out the door.
