Dictator Project TASK: Why do people sometimes support dictators? United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon TASK: You are assistants to the Secretary General of the United Nations. The Secretary General has asked you to examine dictatorships in modern history and determine how they assumed power, and why people have supported them. You are to create and deliver a presentation of your findings to a UN task force.

Step One: Answer The Following Questions What are the definitions of "dictator" and "dictatorship?" What are the characteristics (features) of a dictatorship? Who are some of the dictators in modern history?

Directions For Step Two: Choose Two (2) Dictators To Research Use the format of the following template slides to answer the questions. You should type over the directions/cues.
