Clinical surveillance system in the field Enhanced surveillance of trans-boundary animal disease in rural areas of Jordan affected by the crisis in Syria project This project funded by FAO about $ 425000 for one year (from July 2015-June 2016) First stage: Keys TADs of Jordan are assessed and mapped Sero-surveillance for five diseases; FMD, PPR, Bluetongue, LSD and Brucellosis. More than 16000 blood samples to be collected from sheep, goat, cattle and camels from all governorates in Jordan. More than 60 vets involved in field work Lab tests ELISA and PCR in to be done in laboratories of MOA. Statistical analytical will be perform by JUST. The camel samples will be tested for brucellosis New project with FAO will be in 2016 on MERS COv of camels and bats in Jordan 9/18/2018
