Each of these artists had a vision of creating a better future for all societies by introducing their artwork to the world. This a group has donated to multiple charities, fundraisers, and eventually opened the Blue School in 2006, a school for children based on the same values as the founders of the Blue Man Group. They wanted to speak "up" to the intelligence of people and reach "in" to their childlike innocence. Influencing the younger generation is vital in producing a better future.

They are very much an avant-garde group because they thought that in order to have more creativity and have more childlike innocence, it will do nothing but better our future. Their mission is to inspire creativity in both audiences and selves.
