Strange Animals By- Andrea, Jenah, Loni!!!

Barrel Eye Fish The barrel eye fish is very cool it has many amazing features!!!!! The barrel eye fish has a transparent head which means it's head is see through it is really cool!!! The barrel eye fish’s scientific name is Macropinna microstoma. The barrel eye fish is adapted to life in a pitch- black surrounding !!!! It has special eyes so they can see their food when it is over there head!!! What a interesting animal! In the background, you will see a picture of the fish!!!

Ocelot This animal in the background is called an ocelot!!! (The name of this creature is pronounced ocalot). This animal is about twice the size of a average sized house cat. The ocelot eats rabbits, rodents, iguanas, fish, and frogs as you can tell not animals that are very big. This animal is a mammal which means that it has fur on its body and does not lay eggs. The ocelot is also a carnivore which means that this animal eats only meat. FUN FACT - There was one ocelot that escaped from a California zoo. It traveled the whole United States, except Texas. It finally settled in South America!!!

Rainbow Glow Rainbow Glow is a jellyfish (as you can see)!! This jellyfish does not sting at all!!! It’s tentacles may look like they light up but it is actually the light reflecting off the tentacles which makes it look colored, which makes it looks very nice, in my opinion!!!! This jellyfish is very interesting because of the look of the jellyfish and it’s beautiful appearance!!! This animal was discovered by Lisa Gershwin!
