Romeo & Juliet What about Paris?

Introduction: What are we taught about Romeo & Juliet? Greatest love story ever told Star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet’s actions are perfectly reasonable— even romantic What else do you remember?

What are the facts? Romeo and Juliet knew each other for 7-9 hours before literally dying over one another. 15 minutes at the party 30 minutes in the balcony scene 15 minutes for the wedding 6 -8 hours on the wedding night Part of this time was sleeping

Activity—Take out a clean sheet of paper This side of the room… This side of the room… List Romeo’s actions toward Juliet or women in general.
