PRACTICAL ELECTRONICS MASTERCLASS (Mr Bell)

Microcontrollers (PIC 16F819) Microcontrollers are dedicated to one task and run one specific program, which is programmed into its Read-Only Memory) ROM. The POV wand is programmed to switch on certain LEDS to create particular letters, that you program into it. But will return to default (RAPID word) when switched off. Any product or device that interacts with its user has a microcontroller buried inside itself, e.g. TVs, mobile phones, PS4, Xbox, Printers....

Solder PIC Microcontroller holder in Notice the small notch on the holder, which indicates the correct way round it should be inserted

All 18 pins should slot through but you may need to bend them slightly to keep them in place.

Insert the PIC Microcontroller in to holder Notice the small notch on the Microcontroller and holder, which indicates the correct way round it should be inserted. MAKE SURE IT GOES IN THE RIGHT WAY
