What Data? Where? Ann Jinkins June 5, 2014

Luckily, help is here with a solution for all your data needs.

Integrated Compliance Portfolio The Integrated Compliance Portfolio

This tool transforms how we address compliance and accountability by reframing the way we look at data.

The portfolio takes the federal systems such as: Priority/Focus, Annual Measureable Achievement Objectives (AMAOs), Special Ed LEA Determination, and Special Ed State Performance Plan (SPP)

And the State systems: The State accountability Rating System, FIRST- the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas, PBMAS Performance-based Monitoring Analysis System, and DVM—Data Validation Monitoring, State Accreditation

And creates a customized data summary for each district and charter in our region. The first component gives the overall rating for each system.

The next piece displays each and every indicator for all systems carefully crafted into a single page. Instead of looking at data from individual systems as they are released throughout the year, the portfolio is organized by areas of impact.

State Assessment Participation State Assessment Proficiency TELPAS Year After Exit

Graduation Dropout PET Reporting RHSP/DAP

LRE Staff Ratio CTE-Non Traditional Access to General Curriculum

ISS OSS DAEP Expulsion

Disproportionality Child Find

Early childhood looks at 3-5 years olds receiving special education services and Parents encompases the statewide special education parent survey

Critical Indicators Fiscal Efficiency Budgeting Cash Management

You might be thinking “this is nice, but how will I ever figure out what all these things mean and measure?”

Well … there are some additional tools to help you out.

The districts are provided with a contact page so they can follow up with Region 13 for any service needs.

Finally an Anticipated Calendar for 2012 compliance is also included.

This integrated portfolio with its bird's eye look at all things compliance allows you to extract areas for improvement, examine them for patterns and relationships, and then begin formulating a single collaborative plan across programs and disciplines.
