Starter: (10 min) Essential question: How biotic and abiotic factors limit population growth?

Engage: CCC Stability and change: Today many species of wildlife depend on national parks for sanctuary from human development. The National staff - May 29, 2014 Six reserves were formally declared by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.to improve the environment and boost eco-tourism.

Engage: Jabal Nazwa reserve, Al Marmoum desert reserve, Al Wuhush desert reserve and Al Ghaf reserve, Hatta mountain reserve and the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR) will now also be run by Dubai Municipality. They have been established to protect natural wildlife, including plants such as samar, ghaf, and side, which thrive in desert areas, said Hussain Lootah, director general of the municipality.

Six natural reserves in UAE

Explore Main task: Students analyze a graph showing the variation of the raindeer population during a time period. Each group will be able to solve a certain level of questions page 95

Elaborate: Each group will be able to solve a certain level of questions page 98

Evaluate: Checking For Understanding: Claim two situation where a population follows an exponential growth and a logistic growth.

Are all natural resources available in all times Are all natural resources available in all times? Or vulnerable to changes?
