jen.girvin@hosa.org HOSA CAR = Chapter Advisor Resource When there’s a new HOSA Chapter Advisor, many times they are overwhelmed with the thought of “What do I do? What is HOSA? What is my role? How do I make this happen?” jen.girvin@hosa.org

National HOSA collaboratively developed this resource to help answer those questions and have a “one-stop shop” that’s easy to navigate and provides user friendly documents.

During the 2013 National HOSA Washington Leadership Academy, about 50 local and state advisors had the opportunity to think through a couple of questions: What is ONE THING you wished National HOSA provided? What are the 1-2-3 easy steps for a new chapter advisor? The ONE THING and 1-2-3 easy steps turned into 12 steps and MANY THINGS…. We took those MANY THINGS and created…..

…an outline! (Chapter Advisor Resource Outline)

We needed a platform in which to deliver our resource… Hence… the TRAIN/HOSA CAR partnership!!
