Childhood Anibal Sanchez grew up in Maracay, Venezuela. As a child he played in many mini baseball leagues and won most of his games. He always dreamed of becoming a baseball player and he did! When he was younger he always visited the Tigers games. When his dad suggested he try out for the Detroit Tigers he did!
