Title of the Journal or Publication: RPS 2015-01 Web Address: http://www.pids.gov.ph/rpd.php?id=5513 Main Idea: Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) is a government program that deals poverty , and education for the children under 0-14 years old. Evidence that supports the main idea (provide at least two): The program’s dual objectives to help poor families by the use of giving a cash grant for nutrition needs , are social assistance and social development It provides cash assistance to poor families to alleviate their immediate needs and aims to “ break the intergenerational poverty cycle through investments in human capital “.

Title of the Journal or Publication: RPS 2015-03 Web Address: http://www.pids.gov.ph/rps.php?id=5637 Main idea: The Assessment of the DSWD SEA-K strategy assesses the effectiveness of the strategy and the complementary interventions of the Sustainable Livelihood Program’s Self-Employment Assistance Kaunlaran (SLP SEA-K) and to make it more effective, the use a micro edit strategy. Evidence that supports the main idea (Provide atleast two ): The SLP SEA-K uses a microcredit strategy to provide credit access to the poor, improve the ability of the group to borrow, and enable it to engage in income-generating activities. Microcredit services are generally believe to have a positive socioeconomic impact; however, the success of projects may depend largely on the management of the program.

Title of the Journal or Publication: RPS 2008 Web Address: http://www.pids.gov.ph/rps.php Main idea: This paper presents the evolution of major practices in Philippine rice production over the last 100 years. Evidence that supports the main idea ( provide at least two) Big, four-wheeled tractors with the extension steel lug wheels continued to dominate the irrigated rice areas in the Philippines particularly in Central Luzon and near sugar cain plantation where tractors were already being use. The farmers are practicing using rice production technologies including hand tractors in rice paddies because it was difficult to take care of and maintain the carabaos under poor-peace-and-order situation and to commit the higher productivity that needed

Text 4 Title of the Text: The ASEAN Economic Community and the Philippines: Implementation, Outcomes, Impacts, And Ways Forward Author/s of the text: Milo, Melanie S. Title of Journals or Publication: RPS 2013-02 Web Address: http://www.pids.gov.ph/rps.php?id=5282 Main Idea: This papers constitute the Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the AEC Blueprint for the Philippines Evidence that supports the main idea(give atleast two) The Philippines Country Report presents the results of service related to the MPR on trade liberalization and facilitation, services and investment liberalization, labor mobility, and Agri-culture. The report also covers two case studies as well as discussion on the role of the private sector and small and medium enterprises, and concludes with recommendation to raise the implementation rate of AEC measures and the country.

Synthesis   TEXT 1: We like this government program because they help poor families. They give cash grant for the needs of poor people especially for the benefits that they may get on the aspects of education. This program aims to break the poverty cycle. And also this program can provide physical relief from pain. TEXT 2: We are primarily like this program because it can improve the socio-economic status of poor families by creating more employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. They supply necessities and support also they provide with nourishment. They use microcredit strategy that specific to small loans. They provide credit access to the poor, and improve the ability of the group to borro TEXT 3: As the years pass, famers use rice production technologies to make their work more easier and more productive. Because they realize that it was difficult to take care the carabaos and to plow the fields using this. And using this practices, it can attain the maximum yield potential of the varieties and to realize the goals of higher productivity and higher rice production. TEXT 4: We agree in this kind of association because it promote regional peace and stability. It Accelerate economic growth, social progress, and culture development in the region. They associate and promote collaboration and mutual assistance for the better utilization of agriculture and industry to raise the living standards of the people. And in this association, it can maintain close, beneficial cooperation with existing international organization with similar aims and purposes.
