What is Safe Routes to School (SR2S)? The San Mateo County Office of Education is pleased to provide Safe Routes to School (SR2S) San Mateo County. Program Goals Include enabling school children to walk and bicycle to school activities to improve health increased safety which less traffic congestion decreased emissions This program is made possible with funding from the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County
