What we thought last year A way to broaden the American experience of ELI students. Activities in and for and to the larger community A way to teach experientially the value of community service and volunteerism An opportunity that our students may not otherwise have. YES, IT IS!

How we thought it would fit into the ELI mission? To meet or exceed our student’s expectations Of involvement in the community Real use of the English they are learning Meeting and interacting with American people Memorable experiences in American culture To enlarge their worldview and understanding of themselves as a member of the global community Yes, it does.
